West Ham boss David Moyes has admitted that he is frustrated by his club’s January transfer window activity after they suffered a 3-1 defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
Though the Hammers are currently in 12th place on the League standings, the result leaves them just three points above the relegation zone and they could be set to face a tough fight for survival during the latter games of the season.
Moyes meanwhile started new-signing Joao Mario during the game while Josh Hugill who arrived from Preston North End was introduced with ten minutes remaining during the Premier League game.
“I’m a little bit frustrated by the transfer window – we needed a third player but didn’t get that at the end” Moyes said. “So I’m OK with bits of it, disappointed with other bits”
The Hammers are next in action next Saturday when they face off against Watford.
