Everton man reportedly wanted by top European league leaders and former UCL winners

As per Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Serie A duo Napoli and Inter Milan are both keen on Everton midfield flop Davy Klaassen as the former Ajax skipper looks to end his Premier League nightmare.

A move to either the Italian topflight leaders or former Champions League winners could happen before Wednesday transfer deadline elapses, but it remains to be seen if it would be a loan or permanent deal.

Since arriving Goodison Park for £25million last summer, Klaassen has started just 7 games across all competitions, coming off the bench on 3 other occasions.

The 24-year-old completed just 3 games and was withdrawn 7 times, highlighting how he has failed to make any impact and impression whatsoever.

With Everton out of every other cup competition and the Europa League, the 16-time Netherlands international is set to become surplus to requirements until summer given the plethora of midfield options available to manager Sam Allardyce.

The Toffees boss has already told Klaassen to leave the club, and with just 6 months gone out of his 5-year contract, a temporary exit seems more likely.
