Sunderland have reportedly shown interest in Andy King of Leicester City.
King has fallen down the pecking order at the King Power Stadium this season and Foxes manager Claude Puel appeared to suggest on Monday that he would be willing to let the midfielder leave the club on loan.
During the current season, the player has made just five starts and six substitute appearances in the League.
The Black Cats could have a good chance of signing King, considering that he worked with Chris Coleman through the Wales national team.
At 29-years-old and having plenty of experience at the highest level, King could be a good signing for the Black Cats who are struggling to avoid relegation from the Championship.
Leicester are likely to receive a number of offers for King before the transfer deadline and it is unlikely that they will be keen to deal with a Premier League rival.
