According to reports, Swansea are readying an improved £18 million offer for West Ham attacker Andre Ayew.
The Hammers signed the Ghana international for a fee of around £20 million in 2016 and if they do sell him, they will end up recouping a large amount of that money.
Though Ayew has shown flashes of quality, he has struggled for form and consistency throughout his time at the East London club, albeit being hampered by injuries.
The Swans are keen to bolster their squad this month with the addition of Ayew as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier League and reportedly had an opening offer of £14 million turned down for the player.
However this will not deter Swans manager Carlos Carvalhal who knows that he will have to sign more players before the end of the transfer window if he wants to guide the club away from the drop zone
