It appears that Diafra Sakho is close to leaving West Ham. The Senegal international had hoped to join Rennes during the summer but in the end, the transfer was blocked by the Hammers board.
It now appears that his desire to join the French club could finally be realized according to reliable Journalist Kaveh Solhekol.
Sakho has reportedly already passed a medical with the Ligue 1 club and it is perhaps just a matter of time before an £8 million transfer is finally concluded.
Hammers manager David Moyes had previously expressed a desire to keep all of his current attacking options till the end of the season but he will now likely have to make do without the services of Sakho.
Sakho will be hoping to play as regularly as possible during the second half of the season in order to keep sharp ahead of the 2018 World Cup, where he is likely to form part of the Senegal squad.
