According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool wantaway forward Daniel Sturridge is closing on his move to Serie A giants Inter Milan on loan until the end of the season.
The same source reports that Inter will pay £1.5 million for loan and will have an option to make it permanent next summer.
The 28-year-old has had a troubled first half of the season often struggling with injuries, which minimized his chances of catching the plane for Russia.
The former Chelsea striker has already shown strong desire to leave Anfield for some regular first-team action, and Jurgen Klopp gave his approval.
The Nerazzurri are seeking a quality attacker to boost their chances of reaching Champions League promotion, with head coach Luciano Spalletti determined to pair Sturridge with Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic in his attacking trident.
A couple of Premier League clubs and the Spanish giants Sevilla have also tried to snatch the left-footed striker, but it seems he is moving to Italy this winter.
