The Daily Star have transmitted the words of renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio stating that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore has refused Liverpool offer to join Inter Milan.

According to the same report, the Merseyside club and Tottenham Hotspur have seen their £35 million bids declined by El Flaco, who would like to return to Italy where he spent some glittering moments with Palermo prior his move to Paris.

The 28-year-old playmaker is known for his excellent technique and vision, combined with exquisite passing and dribbling abilities.

However, due to the high competition in PSG midfield, he is forced to leave Parc des Princes for some first-team football, as he is looking to feature Argentina World Cup team.

Jurgen Klopp has been seeking a replacement for Philippe Coutinho with several names being linked with the Reds. But, it seems that Liverpool fans will have to wait until the next summer to see a new face in the red shirt.
