Young Halmstad goalkeeper Noel Tornqvist has revealed that he is hoping that he is offered a contract by Leeds United.
The 16-year-old is currently undergoing a second trial with the Championship club. Sports Witness report that the youngster first underwent a trial with Leeds in November.
His agent Liridon Kelmendi reportedly said at the time that Leeds are a club who would suit his client due to the way in which they run their academy.
During the time, Kelmendi also added that the youngster’s trial with Leeds had gone well and added that he would be undergoing further trials with the club.
When asked about the possibility of winning a contract with Leeds, Tornqvist said: “Sure, you hope to be offered a contract here in Leeds, but after this week everything is focused on Halmia.”
Leeds could be a good place for the youngster to continue his development as the Whites have world-class youth facilities.
