Liverpool reportedly could complete deal with Championship outfit on one condition

Anfield

According to YEP, Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan could be on his way to Leeds United before next Thursday if the Elland Road outfit lose Andy Lonergan to Sunderland.

The 34-year-old has played second fiddle to Felix Wiedwald all campaign and could leave in search of regular football, with the Black Cats promising just that.

As a backup and to keep Wiedwald on his toes, the Whites will move to sign Bogdan on loan till the end of the campaign.

The 30-year-old Hungary international hasn’t tasted action since damaging his cruciate ligament while on loan at Wigan last season, but he’s now fully fit to return to goal.

Another move away from Anfield is all but certain, and Bogdan could even seek to make his next exit permanent having struggled to break into the Liverpool first team since arriving from Bolton in 2015.

The Hungarian has a lot of Championship experience that could benefit Leeds, and would give the first-choice 27-year-old German the run for the money due to his quality if a deal is gotten over the line.
