According to a report published by the Stoke Sentinel, Stoke City will go in with an improved offer for New York City’s English midfielder Jack Harrison.
The 21-year-old Harrison has earned rave reviews for his performances in the United States and will surely be feeling that now is the right time for him to return to England in order to further develop his career.
An initial £3.25 million bid was rejected by the American club for the player but Stoke will try again with a view to getting a deal done before the end of the January transfer window.
Harrison was born in England but ended up moving to the United States as a teenager. He has shown promising ability and made his debut for the England-U21 side last year.
The player also still has family who live in Staffordshire and this could persuade him to move to the Potters.
