Jurgen Klopp has denied Liverpool’s interest in Premier League superstar

Daily Express have broadcasted Jurgen Klopp’s words about Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez. According to the recent reports, Liverpool officials have tried to hijack the Premier League rivals Manchester United for the Chilean’s signature.

The Reds are desperate to find a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who recently joined Barcelona. Thomas Lemar, Riyad Mahrez, Suso, and James Rodriguez have all been listed as potential targets, but Liverpool have yet to make a concrete move on the market.

Some UK media have reported during the last 24 hours that the Merseyside club may try to sign the 29-year-old forward, whose contract with Arsenal is expiring in less than six months.

However, Jurgen Klopp has dismissed such possibility during the recent interview, “Its just impossible. I cannot see that situation.

“I know now that Alexis Sanchez maybe moves from one club to the other. That was not what I thought about. But I cant see any player at this moment in this moment who would do it.”

Alexis Sanchez has refused to extend his deal with Arsenal, and he is expected to leave the Emirates already this January.

Manchester City’ chief of staff, Pep Guardiola, is a long-time admirer of the former Barcelona star, but it seems Jose Mourinho is getting closer to bring the Chilean at Old Trafford.
