Daily Express have reported the news from Italian outfit Sky Sport Italia about Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge’s future.
According to the latest reports, Roma management has set sights on the former Chelsea forward, with Inter Milan and Sevilla both showing interest for the player.
All the interested clubs would like to bring Sturridge on loan with an option to buy, and the Reds seem willing to accept that formula.
The latest news suggests the Merseyside club would ask for £1.76 million to let the 28-year-old leave Anfield on loan. They would also demand £26.4m for selling Sturridge outright at the end of the season.
Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco is seeking a backup option for Edin Dzeko after disappointing performances from Gregoire Defrel.
Sturridge has been on the fringes of Liverpool’s side and will move this January looking for some regular first-team action.
However, Roma will have to beat the fierce competition from Serie A rivals Inter, who are also intending to boost the attacking department with the England international.
