According to reports, Aston Villa could sell Tommy Elphick to Championship rivals Millwall as they look to bring in Axel Tuanzebe from Manchester United.
Since moving to Villa in 2016, Elphick has struggled to adapt to life at the club but has been on a resurgence recently and churned out positive displays for the Villains against Middlesbrough and Bristol City.
Though Bruce will be happy to keep Elphick within his squad, it is likely that he will end up leaving in order to pave the way for the arrival of Tuanzebe from United.
Villa are looking to sign the 20-year-old on loan till the end of the season.
Tuanzebe is highly rated at United and Jose Mourinho may be open to sending him on loan this month so that he can gain more experience at the highest level.
Millwall are one of the clubs that are interested in signing Elphick and they can now be confident of recruiting the 30-year-old.
