Everton reportedly still keen on midfielder for Champions League side

According to a report published by Estadio Deportivo, Everton are not losing sight of Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi.

The Toffees were woeful in terms of their performances by their standards during the first half of the campaign and have shown their intent to improve by so far adding Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott to their side this month.

Despite having already spent heavily this month, it appears that Everton are prepared to splash even more cash in order to sign N’Zonzi who Big Sam worked with previously when he was managing Blackburn Rovers in 2009.

Although the Toffees have a number of midfielders in their ranks, N’Zonzi would be a great addition to the club and could also provide support to the defence which is something that Allardyce would love.

The Toffees will however have to fork out a sum of money in the region of €40 million if they want to sign N’Zonzi who is highly rated at Sevilla.
