According to SkyBet, Leeds United are now 2nd favorites to sign Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa behind Aston Villa.
The 31-year-old Argentine is set to leave King Power Stadium this month having grown frustrated with his lack of game time since last season, and a return to the Championship seems to be on the cards.
Ulloa has featured in just 6 games across all competitions for the Foxes this term, with a paltry 19 minutes coming in 4 cameo appearances off the bench in the league.
Given their struggles in finding the back of the net constantly, the Whites could do with the experience of the south American powerhouse who scored 26 goals in 58 matches during him spell with Brighton, with 23 of those strikes coming in the Championship.
Replacing Chris Wood’s goals has been too herculean for Leeds this term, with the striking trio of Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Jay-Roy Grot and Caleb Ekuban flattering to deceive.
However, the perfect solution could be found in Ulloa given that he could prove to be a short-term answer.
