West Ham reportedly looking to bring back £10.2 million player this January

According to reports, West Ham manager David Moyes is hoping to bring Robert Snodgrass back to the Hammers though Aston Villa are demanding that the £2 million loan fee be repaid.

After arriving at the Hammers last January, Snodgrass failed to establish himself at the club and was sent on loan to Villa by Slaven Bilic ahead of this season.

He was also subjected to humiliation after Hammers co-owner David Sullivan questioned whether the club made a correct decision to sign him for £10.2 million.

Sullivan said that his children begged him not to sign Snodgrass though Bilic wanted the deal to be done.

It is now understood that a deal is unlikely to be done during this window as Villa are demanding cash.

The Hammers will need to use all their cash available towards bolstering their side this month and have been linked with Everton youngster Tom Davies.
