Rangers and Leeds in race for player who scored hat-trick against Chelsea

According to BetVictor, Leeds United and Rangers are still in the race to land out-of-favour Norwich City striker Steven Naismith before the January winter transfer window ends.

The former Everton hitman, famous for the Premier League hat-trick he bagged against Chelsea in 2015-16, is set to leave the English Championship outfit, but Kilmarnock are favourites to land him as a reunion and return to the SPFL are on the cards.

The Light Blues are overall 2nd favourites, while the Whites are 2nd joint favorites to land Naismith in England.

Both sides are looking for additional striking power, but a move to Elland Road doesn’t look likely despite the links.

However, Naismith could return to Ibrox having already openly confessed he would love to play for Rangers again, even if would mean he doesn’t get paid.

With 26 goals in 123 club appearances, the 31-year-old boasts of a decent scoring record and experience.

Naismith could be a great option for both Rangers and Leeds, but it remains to be seen if he would end up with either of them.
