According to reports, Everton could be set to swap Sandro Ramirez in a deal with Sevilla which could see Steven N’Zonzi arriving at Goodison Park.
Sandro arrived at the Toffees during the summer as a highly rated striker from Malaga. He was expected to hit the ground running especially following the departure from the club of Romelu Lukaku.
However he has failed to settle into life in England and has scored just one goal for the Toffees which came during a 5-1 Europa League defeat against Atalanta.
Everton boss Sam Allardyce meanwhile is a fan of N’Zonzi who played under him when he was managing Blackburn Rovers in 2009.
N’Zonzi fell out of favour at Sevilla under former boss Eduardo Berizzo following the clubs 3-3 draw Champions League draw against Liverpool in November.
Sevilla were 3-0 down at half-time and N’Zonzi was singled out for criticism during the break by the then manager which led to him leaving the ground.
