According to Sky Sports, Celtic’ talented midfielder Regan Hendry will spend the rest of the season at Raith Rovers after agreeing on a loan deal.
Young Hendry has not yet debuted for the first team, but he passed through all the youth selections and has so far played for the Celtic U-21’ squad.
Raith are currently playing in the Scottish League One, where they are second on the table, with two games less than Ayr Utd that occupies the first place and they are struggling to enter the higher ranking of the competition and the club believes that prospective midfielder could help them in that fight.
Due to the great competition in the middle of the field and insufficient experience, the best solution for the youngster was to go on loan to a lower league, in order to prepare adequately for the challenges that will be expecting him in the Scottish Premiership.
