According to West Ham insider, the Hammers have put a number of clubs off from signing striker Diafra Sakho after they slapped a £15 million price tag on the player.
ExWhuEmployee, who is a reliable source of West Ham first team affairs, revealed the news on Twitter on Monday.
The Tweet read, “We are apparently looking to get £15m if we sell Sakho which has put a number of clubs off signing him at this point?”
Sakho has been reported to be unhappy at the Hammers for a while and he reportedly tried to push for a move to French club Rennes during the summer transfer window, however this was not granted.
He has made 17 appearances in all competitions this season, however he has been left frustrated as majority of those have been off the bench.
With David Moyes needing to bring in reinforcements to his side this month, it will make sense to sell Sakho.
