Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that his club has received no bids for striker Moussa Dembele but added that he cannot guarantee whether the Frenchman will remain with the Hoops for the long-term.
Dembele has become one of the most sought after young attackers in Europe after moving to the Scottish giants from Fulham during the summer of 2016.
He went on to score 32 goals last season for Celtic and played a key role in helping the club win the domestic treble undefeated.
The France international is reported to have attracted the interest of a variety of clubs from the elite Leagues of World football and was strongly linked with a move to Brighton and Hove Albion.
However speaking ahead of his sides clash with Dundee, Rodgers confirmed that Dembele is still very much a Celtic player and said: “I was made aware of that by a family members asking me if it was true or not.
“It was the first I had heard of it and Moussa is very much still a Celtic player. With all due respect, Celtic are a club that have good players and at times will lose some of those talented players.
“But at this moment in time the squad is very much in tact and we want to add to it over the course of the January window.”
