As per The Mirror, Premier League trio Everton, Tottenham and Liverpool are all monitoring Sheffield United attacking midfielder David Brooks ahead of the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old has been one of the best performers in the Championship, scoring 2 and assisting another 4 in 21 games this term.
Brooks’ passing and technical abilities are standout features of his game, and while the Blades won’t be willing to lose their man midway through a promising campaign, they won’t hesitate to let go for £20million.
The Toffees already have a plethora of attacking midfielders within their ranks, and it remains to be seen if manager Sam Allardyce will be keen on another.
Same goes for Spurs and the Reds who are both well-stocked in the department.
However, Brooks seems like a big deal given he is linked with 3 topflight sides, and a Premier League switch looks to be on the cards sooner or later.
A couple of middle-table suitors can be expected to enter the race, with Newcastle and West Ham linked with the Englishman earlier this month.
