West Ham boss Moyes wants a busy January transfer window

West Ham manager David Moyes has revealed that his club will be strengthening their side in January and will be looking to sign players that can make an immediate impact.

Though West Ham’s performances have improved recently, the Hammers are still battling relegation and have to do plenty of hard work if they want to avoid the drop this season.

They have managed to make progress since Moyes was appointed last month, winning against Chelsea and drawing with Arsenal.

The East London club will strengthen their side in January in order to boost their chances of avoiding the drop and this was confirmed by Moyes who said, “I hope it is busy, the January window.

“In recent years, it has not been as busy as people had made it out to be. But it is not the easiest month (to do transfer business). I would like to add to the squad if we can do.

“I think it is really important that we try and get players who we think can make a difference and can give us people who can more or less go straight into the team. But that is not the easiest thing to do.”
