According to reports, Yannick Bolasie could be set to make his Everton first-team return on Monday against Swansea City.
Manager Sam Allardyce said: “Yannick Bolasie is training and will probably play some part in a game tonight.
“We will see what happens with that and we may, depending on the whole team here, have a discussion as to whether that makes him available for selection on Monday night against Swansea.”
The DR Congo international has been on the side lines for a year after rupturing his cruciate knee ligaments during a game against Manchester United on December 4 last year.
He is now nearing full fitness and made his competitive return by featuring for the Toffees U-23 side during their game against Leicester on Monday as a substitute.
If things continue to go well then Bolasie could be in line to make a return to first team action during the game against Swansea on Monday.
