According to reports, Real Madrid value Manchester United and Tottenham target Gareth Bale at £80 million.
Bale’s time at Madrid has been negatively affected by a series of injuries and Real club president Florentino Perez is said to have become frustrated over his inability to play on a regular basis.
He has so far only played five games in the La Liga this season and it looks like he will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu in the near future.
The Wales international will however not leave cheaply as Madrid are hoping to recoup most of the £85 million which Madrid spent to lure him from Spurs in 2013.
Manchester United and Tottenham have been strongly linked with Bale and United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly made inquiries during the summer.
Meanwhile Mauricio Pochettino was full of praise for his clubs former star and said: “He is a fantastic player. I saw it when we played there. He always kept in touch with the people who worked here in the past.
“I have no close relationship with him or the people around him. But you never know what will happen in football.”
