Has Liverpool just signed a potential Premier League-winning youngster?

Liverpool have handed youth team goalkeeper Kamil Grabara a 5-year contract, and while the 18-year-old is still not close to making it to the first team, the club might have signed a gem for the future.

The goalkeeping department has been an issue for the Reds of recent, with many clamoring for the signature of one capable of winning them points like many Premier League winning-goalkeepers have done.

The duo of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius continues to share duties domestically and continentally with manager Jurgen Klopp still not certain of his number 1.

Grabara, a summer signing from Ruch Chorzow last year currently plays for the under-19s, and has helped the side to the knockout of the UEFA Youth League.

The Polish shotstopper commands the box well, has great reflexes, is good with his feet and is splendid at claiming crosses – something Mignolet has struggled with over the years.

Gerrard said of Grabara in October: “I think he is a top goalie. He is coming for crosses and making them look easy, most keepers would be in trouble with those crosses but he commands his box so well.”

Winning the Premier League is practically impossible without a top goalie, but in the teenage sensation youth team player, Liverpool might have just signed one that will help them with a strong title charge in the near future.
