West Ham man hits back at the club’s owners

Robert Snodgrass has hit out at West Ham co-owner David Sullivan and added that he is not surprised by comments which the chief made in an interview earlier on during the week.

Sullivan had claimed that his children urged him not to sign Snodgrass or Jose Fonte during the January transfer window though both players are still contracted to the club.

Snodgrass has now hit back at the Hammers chief and added that the comments did not really surprise him.

“Everyone tagging me in this like your all surprised. Thanks for your support Mr Chairman,” he said on his personal Twitter account on Friday night.

After being unimpressive during his first few months with the Hammers, Snodgrass was sent out on loan to Aston Villa ahead of this season.

Snodgrass has enjoyed a resurgence at Villa and is hoping to help the club win Premier League promotion this season.
