Swansea City keen on a shock move for £20 million man

Andrew Ayew

According to reports, Swansea City are interested in bringing Andre Ayew back from West Ham.

Ayew left the Welsh outfit in 2016 for a fee of £20 million and his brother Jordan arrived at the Swans just six months later.

The 27 year old has however failed to settle into life in East London and the Swans may look to bring him back to the Liberty Stadium in order to boost their chances of survival this season.

He has so far scored just eight goals in 36 appearances and Swansea will be hoping that they can bring back the player cheaply.

Paul Clement will be looking to bring in reinforcements to his side to provide support to Tammy Abraham.

Whether Ayew ends up leaving the Hammers or not could ultimately depend on what West Ham manager David Moyes wishes for his team.

Moyes could prefer to keep whatever resources he has as his side too look like they are set to be engaged in a relegation battle.
