Belgian striker Divock Origi has admitted that he is not certain about whether he will ever return to Liverpool as he continues to impress on loan for German side Wolfsburg.
When speaking about his future, Origi said, “It’s difficult to say, what I can say is that I want to one day show my talent at a constant level. That comes from playing, learning, expressing yourself and going through good and difficult moments.
“That’s what I am experiencing now at Wolfsburg. It can come quickly or it can take some more time. Everything can happen, I can have injuries or whatever, but of course I try to make the most of it. One thing for sure is that I believe in my ability and we will see where it goes.”
After falling down the pecking order at the Reds ahead of this season, the 22 year old joined Wolfsbug on a season long loan deal in order to gain more game time.
Origi has so far scored four goals from 11 Bundesliga games for Wolfsburg this season and is proving to be one of the livewires within the team.
The striker has played under two different managers this season at Wolfsburg. He started the season in a central position under Andries Jonker and has been deployed in a right wing role since Martin Schmidt replaced the sacked Jonker in September.
