Monterrey took an unexpected victory over the #1 seeded Tigres, which came out flat and failed to show the great soccer they’ve played all season long. With this 1-0 loss, Tigres must either win by 1-0, or, in case Monterrey scores an away goal, win by 2 or more goals. A bit of a difficult task, but Tigres still has a decent chance of defeating their hated cross-town rivals.
