Can Celtic keep off continental heavy spenders from luring their star player away?

As per the Scottish Sun, AC Milan could revive their interest in Celtic striker Moussa Dembele after scouting him during the week.

The Serie A giants were keen on the 21-year-old last summer, and did send a representative to watch him against PSG.

It’s widely believed keeping Dembele at Parkhead beyond next summer would be impossible for Celtic, and should Milan launch a strong bid for the French youngster come season ending, the Scottish giants might have no willpower to hold on to him.

Milan new Chinese owners are amongst the new heavy spending powers on the continent at the moment, splashing £160million to improve the squad during the summer.

However, results have been poor, with their struggles in front of goal costing them.

Manager Vincenzo Montella will definitely add a striker to his team, and with Celtic most likely to play in the Europa League round of 32, keeping an eye on Dembele is inevitable.

If the former Fulham striker continues to impress on the continent, a lot of suitors are bound to come calling by summer, and it’s safe to say this could be his last season at Parkhead.
