Liverpool have reportedly told Philippe Coutinho’s representatives that the Brazilian will not be sold during the January transfer window.
Coutinho’s prospective transfer to Barcelona has been drawing on for a very long time now and there stills seems to be no resolution to the Brazilian’s future.
There were reports earlier this month across many papers in England and Spain which claimed that Liverpool had accepted a bid for the Brazilian and that a move would go through in the January after the player and the Blaugrana had agreed terms.
However, recent reports suggest that Liverpool are not going to sell the flamboyant midfielder during the middle of the season and that Barcelona will now have to wait until the end of the season to resume negotiations.
These reports also claim that Liverpool have told Coutinho’s representatives to keep the thought of leaving Merseyside in January at the back of their mind and not further pursue the transfer this winter.
