Manchester United and Chelsea send scouts to watch over Newcastle United target

Manchester United and Chelsea have sent scouts to observe Besiktas forward Cenk Tosun, who is also under the radar of Newcastle United – according to reports from Turkish Football.

Cenk Tosun has been in impressive form for Besiktas this season, with the forward recently playing an important role in helping the Black Eagles become the first team from the Turkish Super Lig to finish as the group winners in the Champions League.

The Turkish international has already scored four goals and set up another two in the Champions League with one group game to go and this fine return has attracted the attention of some of the top teams across Europe, who are now interested in his signature.

Among the teams interested in the prolific forward are believed to be the Premier League duo of Manchester United and Chelsea, both of whom are actively monitoring the development of the 26-year-old.

This interest has been confirmed by sources from Turkish Football, after they spotted scouts from England present in Besiktas’ recent clash against FC Porto.
