Manchester United legend Gary Neville remarkably managed to predict that Liverpool’s Champions League encounter against Sevilla on Tuesday would end in a 3-3 draw even when the Reds held a 3-0 lead going into half-time.
The former Manchester United and England national team defender Tweeted ‘3-3 this!’ when Liverpool headed into half-time with a commanding 3-0 lead against their Spanish counterparts.
Neville’s prediction was proven correct as the La Liga side managed to score three second half goals to secure a point from the match.
After Sevilla scored their second goal to pull themselves back into the game, Neville doubted his earlier prediction and then quipped that the result would end up 4-3 to the hosts before he went to bed.
He however appeared to be amused by the eventual score line as he posted a number of crying face emoji’s. This result will certainly frustrate Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool supporters as it highlights the team’s defensive woes.
