West Ham skipper explains what has changed following Moyes’ arrival

West Ham club captain Mark Noble has said that training sessions have intensified since David Moyes was appointed as manager of the club.

Moyes was appointed as manager of the Hammers nearly two weeks ago following the sacking of Slaven Bilic. He inherits a team who are low in confidence and struggling to produce results this season.

The East London club are currently languishing in 18th position on the League standings after taking just nine points from their opening 11 games of the season and could face the threat of relegation should things not improve soon.

Noble has now insisted that the team have stepped things up ahead of their game against Watford on Sunday.

“It has been really good working under the new manager David Moyes and his coaching team,” the captain told West Ham’s website.

“When a new manager comes in, the intensity goes up straight away because all the players are playing for a place in the team.

“Obviously, every manager is different and does things in different ways, and the boys have enjoyed training, doing different activities in the sessions he has put on.

“I have played under quite a few different managers now and you get used to their ways really quickly. Every manager has different ideas and different ways of playing and we have got to get used to them as quickly as possible as the games come thick and fast, especially in December.”
