West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna is on the radar of Italian side AC Milan as the Italian giants look to solve their defensive problems, according to reports.
Big spending AC Milan are currently struggling in the Serie A by languishing in eighth position even after spending huge sums this season to sign many marquee players over the summer.
The new big names at the club have failed to gel together in time and it has been demonstrated by Milan’s disorganized defense which has already conceded 16 goals during the current campaign.
As a result of the leaky defense, AC Milan are now believed to be interested in West Ham’s Ogbonna to strengthen their backline and in turn, renew their challenge at the top of league table.
However, the signing of Ogbonna might be counter intuitive for Milan as adding a new player to a squad already in disarray might make the team more unstable and incoherent.
It is also unsure as to whether Milan can indeed land Ogbonna as they face stiff competition from Juventus in their pursuit of the defender and it will be interesting to see how this story unfolds.
