Olivier Giroud has spoken about why he rejected the chance to move to Everton during the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman was reportedly made a target of the Toffees by former boss Ronald Koeman during the summer following the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
It was also been reported that he was given permission to leave the Gunners by Arsene Wenger and decided to stay put at the Emirates Stadium.
Giroud, who scored for the French national team during their 2-0 win over Wales on Friday, has spoken out about why he stayed at the Gunners and still feels that it was the right decision.
He said: “I am not questioning myself about my future. I am happy at Arsenal and I am fine with the decision to stay because I want to.
“I am thinking that the story between the club and myself was not over and not finished. We will see what happens but I am happy at Arsenal for the moment.”
