Liverpool are looking to sign Suso from AC Milan as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, according to Daily Star.
Suso moved to Italian giants AC Milan in 2015 after failing to impress for Liverpool under former manager Brendan Rodgers.
Since moving to Italy though, the Spaniard has shown exponential progress and has turned himself into one of the best talents currently in the Serie A.
The attacker’s meteoric rise has been observed by many clubs across Europe, among whom are the player’s former team Liverpool and recent reports suggest the Reds are looking to sign the Spaniard in the January transfer window.
With Coutinho being close to joining Barcelona this winter, it might mean that Suso will be snapped up immediately by Liverpool to fulfill the void left by the Brazilian at Anfield.
Suso has a release clause of £35million at AC Milan and Liverpool could be tempted to trigger the clause, should Coutinho indeed quit the Reds.
