Former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has said that new West Ham manager David Moyes deserves the trust of fans.
Januzaj was handed his United debut by Moyes in October 2013 and was touted as a superstar after scoring a memorable brace against Sunderland but that never came into being.
After the Belgian fell down the pecking order at United though, Moyes signed him on loan for Sunderland last season.
However the season was less than successful for both parties as the Black Cats ended up having a disastrous season and were relegated from the Premier League.
Moyes was appointed as new Hammers boss on Tuesday following the sacking of Slaven Bilic and Januzaj is happy for the manager who had a lot of faith in him.
He said: “He’s a good manager. Obviously it’s been difficult for him too. I’m happy for him because it’s a nice move and I hope everything goes well for him.
“He likes to play good football. It’s not easy sometimes, it depends on the squad. People have to trust him because he’s done it at Everton for a long time.”
Januzaj left United during the summer and is now playing for Real Sociedad in Spain.
