Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has revealed that he thinks that the Premier League title is already out of reach for Liverpool this season, though he did add that they do have what it takes to finish in the top four.
The Reds have endured a fairly mixed season so far and currently occupy fifth place on the League standings after taking 19 points from their opening 11 games.
They are already 12 points adrift of runaway leaders Manchester City which indicates that winning the League is already a tough ask even at this early phase of the season.
Though Lampard feels that Klopp’s men will not win the Premier League, he does think that they are more than capable of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next seasons Champions League.
He said, “In all honesty, to win the Premier League is going to be a tough as for Liverpool. But it is going to be for everyone in the Premier League apart from Manchester City when you look at it now. Of course, they can finish in the top four.”
