West Ham fell to their 6th loss of the Premier League campaign at the London Stadium on Saturday evening, as Liverpool put 4 goals past them in a game that showed how abysmal manager Slaven Bilic’s charges have been this term.
With the visitors 2-nil up at halftime, the Hammers threatened to start a comeback as Manuel Lanzini pulled one back 10 minutes into the 2nd half, only to concede a 3rd goal immediately after restart as their horror show of shame continued.
West Ham have now leaked 23 goals in 11 league games this term, and while Manchester City loanee Joe Hart has doesn’t have the most reliable of protections in front of him, it can’t be denied that he has been poor nonetheless.
Of the 7 shots on target the Reds had, the 3 he managed to save were typical average saves, and he should have at least done better on 3 other occasions.
Many are beginning to now doubt if he’s actually better in goal than Adrian – who’s yet to be afforded a playing minute in the EPL this term.
With games against Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham to come in December, could it be high time Bilic dropped the poor England international?
Twitter went into a meltdown following Saturday’s drubbing at the hands of Liverpool, and here are some of the best tweets rounded up – including the reply to one claiming Hart was world class.
Joe Hart, England’s number 1, smiling every time he concedes. And he concedes a LOT. Unbelievable he gets picked for England.

Joe Hart is what you lot like to call ‘a passion merchant’. Shocking excuse of a keeper.

The same Joe Hart who has conceded more goals than Adrian did last season that got him dropped? And the same Joe Hart who was laughing after they scored their 3rd? No thanks.

I hope Gareth Southgate is watching this… Joe Hart shouldn’t be near any England team when there’s Heaton, Pope, Butland
