As per the Record Sports, 17 of the 20 Premier League clubs had representatives in attendance at the Parkhead to watch the Champions League clash between Celtic and Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
French striker Moussa Dembele and Scottish fullback Kieran Tierney were the 2 main players clubs like Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal all came to scout, meaning Celtic risk losing the star duo in January or when the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.
Tierney only recently put pen to paper for a new 6-year deal at Parkhead, significantly increasing his buyout fees once the big sides come calling.
United, the Reds and Spurs have been routinely linked with the 20-year-old, with the latter sending scouts to watch him during the clash against the Germans a fortnight ago.
Since getting his name listed in the provisional squad to face Wales and Germany in next month’s friendlies, Dembele has seen his stock sudden rise, with many a Premier League side keen on knowing first-hand while he made France manager Didier Deschamps’ list.
Should any of the Champions League-playing sides in England follow up on their interests in the duo, Celtic could find it hard to keep hold of them for much longer.
