Spanish giants Real Madrid make a request to Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane

Real Madrid chiefs have formally asked Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to name a price for their star forward Harry Kane, according to the Daily Mail.

Kane has followed up his fantastic success from last season with stunning performances during the current campaign and he has already scored 11 goals in 11 appearances.

This impressive goal return has led many to link the England international with a move away from Tottenham and Real Madrid are regarded as one of the favorites to land the prolific forward.

This rumor about move to Spain has been further fueled in recent times, largely by the recent admission of Real manager Zinedine Zidane, who praised Harry Kane as a “complete player” earlier this month.

Spanish publication AS has since reported that Madrid have made a formal enquiry for the 24-year-old and now the Daily Mail state that the La Liga have requested Spurs to name their price for their prized asset.

Tottenham reportedly value the forward at 200 million euros (£178million) at the moment but it has been suggested that Real Madrid are unwilling to pay the full amount and will rather offer a player in the form of Karim Benzema to reduce the financial burden.
