West Ham youngster Reece Oxford has said that he is not looking for an early return to his parent club despite having not as yet featured for Borussia Monchengladbach this season.
Though the 18 year old has an option to cut his loan spell in Germany short and return to England, he appears eager to work hard and break into the Monchengladbach first team.
Oxford would have hoped that his loan move to Monchengladbach would have allowed him to learn valuable lessons and gain experience as he looks to establish himself within the World of football, however things are so far not going according to plan.
Monchengladbach meanwhile are playing impressively and currently sit in fifth position on the Bundesliga standings.
Oxford however said to German source Bild: “It’s true that I have the option to go back to West Ham prematurely, but I’m not looking for it, but I just want to play here at Borussia. I’m only focused on training and the possibility to play.”
