West Ham splashed the cash during the summer transfer window, as the club broke their record transfer fee to land Marko Arnautovic.
The Austrian forward arrived from Stoke City for £20million, but is yet to open his account in front of goal in 4 league games.
The Hammers visit Turf Moor to face Burnley on Wednesday, and their former player Trevor Sinclair believes it could be the perfect chance for Arnautovic to announce himself to the fans.
The ex-England international also claims the 28-year-old could prove instrumental to West Ham’s campaign as they attempt to finish strongly.
Speaking ahead of weekend’s clash, Sinclair said: “I was excited when they signed him from Stoke.
“I was thinking ‘they’ve done really well to get him’. He’s a bit of a maverick, a matchwinner on his day. He’s a powerful athlete and a game changer.
“If he reacts in the right way he could be massively important for West Ham and no more relevant than this game.”
West Ham will attempt to get their 3rd win of the EPL campaign against Burnley, but they have to be on top of their game for that to happen.
The Clarets have secured 8 points playing against Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton and have only lost once.
A tough test awaits the Hammers at Turf Moor, but in Arnautovic, they boast of a player that can make a huge difference on his day.
