Aston Villa star Robert Snodgrass has spoken highly of his teenage team-mate Keinan Davis, hailing the youngster as “an exceptional talent”.
Snodgrass who joined the Championship club on a loan deal from West Ham this summer has been impressed by the skill of the young forward Davis.
The 30 year old Snodgrass added that David has the World at his feet and should be allowed to enjoy his football.
After breaking into the Villa first team, the performances of Davis has been very encouraging. He has so far scored two goals from eight Championship appearances this season.
While talking about the youngster, Snodgrass said, “He’s an exceptional talent. He’s got the world at his feet. If he just keeps listening to the management team who keep guiding him along he’ll be fine.
“Don’t take his youth away from him, he should be able to go and enjoy and play his football, and want to score goals like he’s doing. You can’t teach that.
“I think that’s what he’s got right now. The manager doesn’t just want him to score goals, he wants him to work hard for his team also.”
