Lobos BUAP in contrast to Chivas started off the season promising but has trailed off recently and is now in relegation trouble. The latest result for the team from Puebla was a positive 1-0 win against Veracruz away from home but before that win, the team had lost two consecutive games against Monarcas Morelia and Tigres UANL. The team has had controversy surrounding it all season long from not being able to sign a TV deal to asking money from fans to cover the costs of running the team. Top scorer Julian Quinones had been having a breakout season with six goals but has been separated indefinitely from the club, Luis Quinones inclusively suffered an injury recently that could keep him out of this game. Rafael Puente Jr. will need to count with less reliable options to lead the attack in this game like Emilio Sanchez, Amaury Escoto and Jonathan Fabbro. The game should be an interesting matchup between two teams that have struggled and are looking to get back on track.
