Football pundit Paul Merson has predicted that Tottenham will win when they take on West Ham during the weekend.
The Hammers started off the season on a poor note after losing their opening three fixtures though they have improved recently by claiming four points from their last two games, which included a win over Huddersfield and a draw against West Brom.
Tottenham are the better team on paper and are also on better form, having only lost one game this season which was against defending Champions Chelsea.
Merson has now predicted a comfortable win for Spurs and said, “West Ham have turned a corner after good performances against Huddersfield and West Brom but I can’t look past Tottenham here.
They have been very good away from home – what they did at Everton was brilliant – and I can see them scoring three again.”
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be the favorites to win this game but if they get the basics wrong an upset could be on the cards especially as they are likely to face the threat of players such as Javier Hernandez, Andy Carroll and Marko Arnautovic.
