West Ham boss Bilic’s ridicules Pardew’s plan for Carroll

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has dismissed Alan Pardew’s idea of a special training plan for Andy Carroll as being “impossible”.

Throughout the years, Carroll has been blighted by injuries which have hindered his progress as a player. He was also unavailable for his side’s first three games of the season through fitness problems.

Due to his situation, Pardew has revealed that he would not allow Carroll to train on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before a Saturday game and just allow him to work on Thursday and Friday in order to prevent injuries.

Bilic has now gone on to dismiss Pardew’s suggestions as not being practical though and also feels that should such a suggestion be implemented, it will affect the players ability to remain fit.

He said, “That is impossible. You have to find a special treatment to manage him to be available for the games. That does not mean he won’t not train the whole week, no way.”
