As a result of a 2-nil home win over Birmingham City on Tuesday night, Leeds United shot up to first place on the league table for the first time in Championship history.
Stuart Dallas, who has yet to make a league start this season, was amongst the goals, with his injury time strike 10 minutes after coming on for Pablo Hernandez helping to seal Leeds’ 5th win of the campaign.
The Northern Irishman has now bagged 2 goals off the bench, and is definitely making strong claims for a starting shirt.

The Spaniard told YEP: “We all know what Stuart is able to do. This is why I wanted to renew (his contract).
“We know what he is able to give the team and for sure he will have his opportunities. There are still many games to come and he will have his games from the beginning.”
Dallas, whose initial previous contract was due to expire next June, signed a new 3 year contract keeping him at Elland Road until the 2020 last month.
The manager’s decision to exclude the 26-year-old from a top-quality starting attacking lineup that has scored most goals – 14, seems to be bringing out the best in him.
Dallas could only register 5 goals in 43 Championship games 2 terms ago and 2 in 31 last term, but could surpass all those goals before Christmas.
Indeed, first-team start seems just a matter of time for Stuart Dallas should he maintain his form going forward.
